We had a lot of fun on Friday with our Cat Griz day, here are a couple pictures of the kids decked out in their Bobcat and Grizzly gear. We all enjoyed the nice, friendly, rivalry!
In reading this week we will just work on inquiry. The kids are researching under the theme question: How does geography shape a community? Last week they chose their inquiry questions and this week we will begin research.
In writing this week we will continue working on our reports as well as work on a Thanksgiving writing piece.
In math this week we are learning how to multiply by 8's and 9's. I may wait on these just depending on how many kiddos we have absent during these 2 days. If I don't introduce 8's and 9's we will use the time as multiplication practice and review time.
In social studies we will continue learning about the different Montana Indian Reservations.
There will not be a spelling test this week or any homework because of the short week, but please still spend some time reading over Thanksgiving break.
Code Word: Happy Thanksgiving!
