In reading we are spending the week on poetry. Our essential question is: How can others inspire us? We will focus on the skills of narrative and free verse poetry, theme, repetition and rhyme, and metaphors. In writing we will be working on our fictional narratives.
In math this week we are going to go back and revisit a few of the chapter 8 fraction skills such as looking at fractions greater than one whole. We will then continue working on comparing fractions. By the end of the week I hope to be ordering fractions.
Class picture day has been rescheduled for Monday, March 12th. 3rd grade will go first so we can get our Quest kiddos before they leave.
