First of all thank you to everyone who came to Pizza Ranch last Thursday! It was so fun to see you there supporting Arrowhead school! Through tips and 20% of sales we made $935 for our Technology fund!! In other exciting news we just received the read-a-thon totals as well: $25,500!!! My jaw dropped when the number was announced! I am so proud of our school and of everyone who participated!! Thank you!!
Just a quick reminder, tomorrow is class picture day and our field trip to the Alberta Bair from 8:45-11:00. Since we are testing right up until our normally scheduled P.E. time we will instead be having P.E. on Friday this week and next week.
Also we are out of dry erase markers for the kids to use. I tried to supply some but they just disappear too quickly. If your child would like to bring in a couple of their own dry erase markers they could do that and keep them in their own desk. Thanks so much! Lastly, with these cold days make sure that your child has a jacket to wear outside, a sweatshirt is just not enough when its 4 degrees with wind c We will begin our MontCAS testing this week. Our test schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:30-10:30. Please schedule any appointments you may have around this, if you child leaves a test they will not be able to finish it. This week we will be doing our reading tests. Getting a good night sleep and a good breakfast in the morning will be very helpful for the kiddos as they work through these tests! We have studied hard all year and I know they are ready for the tests!! Thanks!

All About Me
This school year will mark my seventh year of teaching and I must say I am so blessed to be a part of such a great community at Arrowhead school. I am excited to begin a new year with a wonderful group of kids!! I grew up in Helena and attended college in Bozeman, MT at MSU. Go Bobcats! While there I obtained a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. In 2016 I received a masters degree in Education Leadership. Six years ago I married my high school sweetheart, Tymon. We also have a five year old adorable mini australian shepherd puppy, Molly. This year we are also welcoming our first child in February and we are so excited to be parents! When I am not teaching I love to be outside enjoying hiking trails or taking in a sporting event. CategoriesArchives
