Today was our first day of NWEA testing and we did the math test. Unfortunately, as technology sometimes does, it caused us quite a few problems. The kids were great sports as many of the computers froze up and I frantically tried to reload the tests. Just give them extra hugs tonight for their hard work and patience wi
Saturday Live is quickly approaching us! As a class we decided on the theme of Family Fun Night for our basket. Some of the ideas we talked about with this included movies (popcorn & blankets) and games (board games & outdoor games). I think that we can have a lot of fun with this theme and if you have any items that you would like to donate towards the basket please begin bringing them into school.
Announcements for this week:
As I was preparing for my art lesson tomorrow I realized that we do not have any paint shirts for the kids to wear. While making my sample I was even getting paint on myself and I figured that maybe I should try and get the kids some paint shirts before we attempt any painting in class. If you are able to just send your child with and old shirt to wear for painting we can keep it here at school for anytime we paint. Even an old shirt of yours (so they could fit if over their clothes) would work perfect. If we could have these by next week I would really appreciate it. I will have a few extras here as well if you are not able to send one. Thanks so much!
Hello Everyone!
I hope that the long weekend treated everyone well. Mine was just wonderful, we had the most amazing wedding and I could not be happier! We have a fun week ahead. Even though this is a short week we will still be having a spelling test on Friday, be looking for the words to come home on Tuesday. Other than that let's have a great short week! |
All About Me
This school year will mark my seventh year of teaching and I must say I am so blessed to be a part of such a great community at Arrowhead school. I am excited to begin a new year with a wonderful group of kids!! I grew up in Helena and attended college in Bozeman, MT at MSU. Go Bobcats! While there I obtained a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. In 2016 I received a masters degree in Education Leadership. Six years ago I married my high school sweetheart, Tymon. We also have a five year old adorable mini australian shepherd puppy, Molly. This year we are also welcoming our first child in February and we are so excited to be parents! When I am not teaching I love to be outside enjoying hiking trails or taking in a sporting event. CategoriesArchives
