This week in reading we will focus on the essential question: How do landmarks help us understand our country's story? We will focus on the skills of asking and answering questions, main idea and supporting details, and using context clues. In writing we will keep working on our personal narratives.
In math this week we will continue to work on collecting data and making bar graphs, picture graphs, and line plots. We will take our test toward the end of the week.
We started using google classroom last week and the kids have been doing a great job! They now are able to log in at home as well if they would like to continue working on any google classroom assignments. Their email and password are on a sticky label in their planner.
I will be gone this Friday for a wedding in Helena, but Miss Hernandez will be here as the guest teacher. She is starting to take over more responsibilities so this will work out perfectly! This Friday is also the Fund Run. Please make sure you wear clothes you can run around in!! Also if you are donating, bring your donation form in by Friday to be put in the drawing for some prizes!
