I just wanted to send out a quick reminder of upcoming important dates. First of all tomorrow 5-17-13 we are performing HATS at St. John's, please have your child dress in jeans or long pants and a solid t-shirt and remember their hat!!
May 21: Field day- we will be outside from 9:00-11:00 so make sure your kiddo has some sunscreen on!! Water Relay is one of the stations so we could get a little wet! This is also a sack lunch for hot lunch day, I already took our class count so please make sure to pack a lunch if you didn't already say you would be having hot lunch this day. May 24: Rainbow Day- Please try and wear GREEN on this day so that third grade can fill the green color of our school rainbow! Thanks so much! I can't believe we are down to 10 days of school! Wow has this year flown by! Mrs. Gleason Way to go third grade!!! The HATS performance was such a success! I was so proud of all the kids and everyone loved it so much we will be having an encore performance at St. John's next Friday. Please have the kids wear jeans and a solid t-shirt and bring hats again on next Friday! Also I just wanted to take a second to thank all of you!! I was truly touched today with your show of support and appreciation! I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful group of kids and parents!!! Thank you all so so much for the beautiful crab apple tree, the wonderful frame with signatures, the Target gift card, and all the amazing notes and letters from the kids!! You are a group of kids and parents that I will always remember, thank you for everything you have done for me throughout the year, I truly could not have asked for a better first year! Thank you!! Just a friendly reminder that the third grade HATS program is tomorrow, Friday, May 10th at 10:00. Most of the kids brought in a hat to wear, but if your child hasn't please make sure they bring a hat in tomorrow for the program. Also Ms. Waddell has requested that the kids wear jeans and either a white or colorful t-shirt. They are so excited and it should be quite the show! See you tomorrow!!

All About Me
This school year will mark my seventh year of teaching and I must say I am so blessed to be a part of such a great community at Arrowhead school. I am excited to begin a new year with a wonderful group of kids!! I grew up in Helena and attended college in Bozeman, MT at MSU. Go Bobcats! While there I obtained a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. In 2016 I received a masters degree in Education Leadership. Six years ago I married my high school sweetheart, Tymon. We also have a five year old adorable mini australian shepherd puppy, Molly. This year we are also welcoming our first child in February and we are so excited to be parents! When I am not teaching I love to be outside enjoying hiking trails or taking in a sporting event. CategoriesArchives
