In reading this week we are looking into the essential question: How are people able to fly? We will focus on the skills of rereading, cause and effect, and multiple meaning words. In writing we are working on our fictional narratives as well as our wax museum research projects.
In math we are starting a chapter on comparing fractions. This week we will learn to compare fractions with like denominators and then like numerators. Please still continue practicing multiplication and division facts at home!!
Tuesday is class picture day. If you do not want your kiddo's individual picture taken please remember to send in the yellow slip, if I do not have that slip they will have their individual picture taken. These went home a couple weeks ago in Tuesday folders. We will all be in the class photo though, so please dress nicely and bring your smiles on Tuesday! :)
Box tops are due on Wednesday the 21st. If you have box tops at home please send them in! If you are able, it is also helpful for them to be cut on the dotted line, if not that is totally fine and we will do it here! Thank you so much, this is such an easy way to raise money for our school!
