This week in reading we are continuing the same essential question and skills as last week. How do animals adapt to challenges in their habitat? The skills we will focus on are: rereading, comparing and contrasting, and context clues. We will continue to work on our fictional narratives in writing. We will also continue the same spelling words.
In math this week we will look at fractions of a group and problem solving with fractions. Please continue to practice multiplication and division facts at home!
Thursday is Valentine's day. We will have our party from 12:35-2:00. Your kiddo can bring their Valentine's day box or bag in on Tuesday to be displayed for a couple days if they would like. Please make sure if your child chooses to bring Valentine's that they bring them for the whole class. A big thank you to Holly Wallace for planning the party and to anyone else who is helping out, I really appreciate this as I can not be there!
This week we will also get to celebrate Lane and Erynn's birthdays. Happy birthday!!
There is no school on Monday due to winter break.
