This week we will get to watch the 4th and 5th grade Veteran's Day program on Monday. Monday is also a spirit day to wear red, white, and blue and bring $1 to support Warriors and Quiet Waters. It is a wonderful organization that will take Veteran's out fly fishing here in Montana!
Remember the Cat/Griz food drive is still going on this week if you'd like to bring in any not perishable food items please do so by Wednesday the 14th! And on Friday wear your Bobcat or Griz gear to support your favorite team!
In reading this week we are looking into the essential question: How do people figure things out? We will be working on the skills of limerick and free verse poetry, author's point of view, and similes. In grammar we are working on possessive nouns and in writing we will continue our How To writing projects.
In math this week we will work on some problem solving with multiplication and we will take a test on using our multiplication strategies. We will then start practicing using our multiplication facts to find the unknown number and describe patterns.
