This Thursday, May 10th is the 3rd grade musical. Please join us for the parent performance of Wing It at 8:45. The kids have been working really hard and it is sure to be a hit! Ms. Waddell has asked that the kids wear long pants: jeans, leggings, etc (no shorts) and a plain t-shits with no writing or designs on it (any color). We will also have an extra rehearsal on Tuesday to make sure we are ready.
In reading this week we will be looking into the essential question: Why are goals important? We will focus on the skills of rereading and problem and solution. In writing we are working on opinion pieces and in grammar we are working on adverbs.
In math we are starting our chapter in geometry. We will be learning about polygons, different types of angles, and different types of lines.
Friday, May 11th is Walk and Bike to School Day. We have a walk and bike to school event at 1:30. If you are biking you must have your helmet or you will not be allowed to bike. If you are walking we will get to go outside and walk from 1:30 to 2:00.
This week is also teacher appreciation week. Here are the dress up days that go along with this week.
