This week we will try to still have some normalcy even though we are nearing the end of the year! We will have field day on Monday from 9:00-11:00. Please make sure to send your kiddo with sunscreen on or send it with them to put on here, it is supposed to be a nice day, so fingers crossed!
In reading this week we are looking into the essential question: How can learning about animals help you respect them? We will focus on the skills of comparing and contrasting, using context clues, and rereading. In writing we are still working on short opinion prompts.
In math this week we will finish up geometry.
We will work on finishing up our animal rescue device during PLTW this week and learn more about weather and storms with Mystery Science. I'll give a bonus $20 to your kiddo if they can tell you they type of clouds we had on Friday! :) Just write it in their planner!!
On Thursday we get to watch the 5th grade black light show at 8:45 and we also get to watch the Ben Steele 8th grade choir at 1:15.
Tymon will come to class on Friday to work on a fun Father's Day project with the kiddos.
