In reading this week we are focusing on the essential question: How can you use what you know to help others? We will focus on the skills of asking and answering questions, point of view, and prefixes. In writing we are working on ideas for our fictional narrative.
In math this week we are starting fractions! We will be looking at equal parts, fraction names, unit fractions, fractions of a whole, and fractions on a number line. We are done with our six week multiplication memorization, but please keep practicing the facts at home!!
Friday is Jersey Day. Wear your favorite team jersey and bring $1 to support the teen pantry. This helps to fight hunger in the Billings community!
This week in one of our small groups we had a story all about weaving. We even had a paired reading giving us directions on how to weave. Laken went home and applied that! Look what she made! So neat!! Way to go, Laken!
