In math this week we will be working on reviewing division and multiplication. While doing this we will work on some problem solving with multiplication and division. Please make sure you are having your kiddo practice their facts at home, I can't stress enough how important it is! Even just 15 minutes a night would be wonderful!!! I am finding that many of them remember the facts for that week but start to forget the facts from previous weeks, try to practice all of them!!
In social studies this week we will learn about travel brochures and the meaning of geography and natural resources for different communities. This will turn into a project where we will make a Montana travel brochure. In science we are starting a unit called: Earth, Moon, and Sun.
Friday is our holiday program. There will be two performances, 8:45 and 10:00. Ms. Waddell has told the kids to try and dress nice on Friday for the performance. She has at least asked that they try not to wear shirts with any writing on them. I hope you can come to watch, the kids are sounding wonderful, they are definitely getting me in the holiday spirit.
The last couple weeks we have been talking a lot about respect and what that means. We have been having a hard time as a class listening to quiet signals and following directions. We have talked about this often and I am hoping soon to see the kids thinking before they are acting!!
Have a wonderful week!!
