Happy Thanksgiving Week!! Even with this short week, we have a lot of learning to do!!
This week we will be working on understanding the writing trait of voice. We will talk about "strong" verbs and "weak" verbs, and how "strong" verbs can bring our writing to life! We will also be exploring how voice in writing can make us feel a certain way. In math we will continue working on division. We will be dividing by 8 & 9 and with 0 & 1. Please make sure your kiddo is still practicing their multiplication facts at home EVERY night!! It is so important and does not take too long!! In class we made flash cards of the facts we are memorizing, that could be a great thing to do at home too!! We are lucky enough this week to have the chance to make Blessing Bags with Rachel Johnson (Presley's mom). I am so excited and I think the kids will love it! Remember that Tuesday is a half day, we dismiss at noon, your kiddo can bring a large snack on Tuesday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful kiddos every day

All About Me
This school year will mark my seventh year of teaching and I must say I am so blessed to be a part of such a great community at Arrowhead school. I am excited to begin a new year with a wonderful group of kids!! I grew up in Helena and attended college in Bozeman, MT at MSU. Go Bobcats! While there I obtained a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. In 2016 I received a masters degree in Education Leadership. Six years ago I married my high school sweetheart, Tymon. We also have a five year old adorable mini australian shepherd puppy, Molly. This year we are also welcoming our first child in February and we are so excited to be parents! When I am not teaching I love to be outside enjoying hiking trails or taking in a sporting event. CategoriesArchives
